Enjoy access to pools, bouldering gym, minigolf, and Great Sandy National Park hikes. Accommodations range from glamping tents and cottages to dog-friendly campsites.

The retreat is a 5-minute drive from Noosa River at Moorindil St Ferry Access point. Guests enjoy a short 3-minute ferry ride to Noosa North Shore via the Noosa North Shore Ferries. Noosa North Shore Car Ferries operate two car ferries 365 days a year from the river end of Moorindil Street, Tewantin and depart approximately every ten minutes. The ferry is open 5:30am - 10:20pm Sunday - Thursday, and 5:30am - 12:20am Friday & Saturday.

Tewantin is approximately 1.5 hours drive north of Brisbane. To find Noosa North Shore Car Ferries, exit the Bruce Highway at Cooroy and turn left where you see the Shell Service Station in Tewantin.

BIG4 Noosa North Shore offers a tennis court and private access to the lake. There is a Giant Jumping Pillow available at the Great Sandy Hotel during opening hours. Guests can spend the day fishing, surfing, bushwalking, canoeing and exploring.

All rooms offer a TV, refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a private bathroom, and towels and linen are provided. Some rooms also include a fully equipped kitchen.

The Noosa River Ferry is available:

Sunday-Thursdays 5:30 to 22:00

Friday-Saturdays 5:30 to 12:00 midnight

There is a charge each way per vehicle.

Reception hours are as follows:

Le personnel est adorable, toujours près à aider, souriant et tellement agréable. 120%! On peut voir des kangourous tout le temps ! Il y a un mini golf et quelques activités sympas.
Les photos sur booking n’ont absolument rien a voir avec les chambres de l’établissement qui sont plus proches du backpackers que des bungalows équipés qu’ils presentent! Pas de micro ondes, pas de tables ou de chaises, pas de chauffage ou de clim. Le micro filet d’eau qui sort de la douche permet à peine de se doucher. Pas de wifi a part à l’acceuil, et aucun reseau telephonique nulle part ! Les horaires de cet hotel sont incomprehensibles. Le lunch finit à 11h30 et le diner à 19h30. Le dimanche ils font generalement un brunch car ils ferment tout jusqu’au lendemain des 15h. Sauf que la finalement ils ne l’ont pas fait (sans prevenir, et comme tout est fermé… il faut esperer que vous ayiez prevu des courses avant sinon vous mangerez demain!) Les tarifs de la boutique et des activites sont parfaitement deraisonnables. 50$ pour louer un velo + 100$ de deposit la ou tous les hotels le font pour 15$! A la boutique on nous dit que les prix sont chers car il s’agit d’un hotel dans une reserve naturelle ou les produits sont durs a acheminer (il y a un woolies à 15minutes de voiture les gars…) Le restaurant a une toute petite carte, si vous restez ici la semaine vous risquez de tourner un peu en rond sur la nourriture… aucun legume à la carte d’ailleurs. Pour finir le « ferry » (comptez une minute de trajet… ) vous coutera 30$! Donc pour resumer, vous allez payer 30$ pour vous retrouver coincés dans un endroit sans aucun contact avec le reste du monde ou des enfants braillent toute la journée, pour dormir dans des lits superposés et manger des trucs frits à des heures parfaitement saugrenues, et ca c’est quand vous pourrez manger. Les soirées vont etre tres longues on vous aura prévenus…

Pleasant
I loved the location. I loved how we were not pestered by staff with noise etc. It was a great distance to the pool. The camp kitchen was nice and clean and close to the cottages. That was a big plus for us.
I thought that there could be a little more entertaining (eg. a Playground or something similar) for the kids over near the cottages. One of the screen doors didn't shut or lock. Having a 2 year old who likes to wander, this is unsafe. As it was, a young child was walking around for over 30 minutes without any sight of the parents. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and kept filling up (easy fix though) The majority of the staff were fantastic, however, there was one that on arrival, could have been a bit more polite. We were told we could use the facilities when we called, which allowed us to come earlier rather than going home and driving all the way back there, but then was advised we were not able to use the pool and facilities as advised. Had to sit for over an hour waiting. Could made other arrangements. No Aircon, biggest let down. It was so hot when we arrived!!! When arriving, it would have been helpful to receive a brochure that showed all the entertainment and prices without having to ring up or go over to the reception to find out. Not a biggie, just a suggestion I was interested in the lake view cottages for future bookings, but couldn't site any lakes?? If this information is incorrect, then it needs to be updated. These are all just suggestions. As I have stayed in many big 4s, I feel that these are a big opportunity missed with this particular one.
